Privacy & terms

Who this is for

Concours RSVP is the private event platform of The Concours Club, available to Club members and their invited guests. It is not open to the public and is not indexed by search engines.

What we collect

We store the details you provide when responding to an invitation: your name, email, phone (if given), guest count, and any answers to a host's questions, along with your attendance record. We use them only to run Club events: to confirm your response, remind you, and check you in.

Communications

We send transactional messages about events you're invited to (invitations, confirmations, and reminders) by email and, if you opt in, by text message. You can adjust these preferences at any time in your account.

Usage analytics and error monitoring

We use two third-party services to keep the platform working and to understand which parts of it people actually use.

PostHog records which pages are opened, how long each page is viewed, and where on a page people tap or click. This tells us, for example, that guests are abandoning a question or missing a button, so we can fix it. These analytics are not tied to your identity: we do not send your name, email address, or phone number to PostHog, and we do not create a per-person profile there. The text on screen is masked before it leaves your browser, so guest names and RSVP answers are not captured, and your one-tap RSVP link is stripped of its access token before any analytics data is sent. PostHog is not used to record your screen, and we do not use it for advertising or sell what it collects.

Sentry records error reports when something breaks. When an error occurs, Sentry also captures a short replay of the interface leading up to it, which can include information that was on screen at the time. All text is masked and images are blocked before anything leaves your browser, and replays are recorded only for sessions that hit an error, never at random.

Both services transmit over encrypted connections and store data on United States infrastructure under their own privacy and security policies. We use what they collect to diagnose problems and improve the platform, and for nothing else.

Your data rights

We do not sell your information. You can download a copy of the data we hold about you (your profile, your RSVPs, the guests you've brought, and your answers to a host's questions) at any time from your account page.

To correct or erase your data, contact the Club concierge at concierge@theconcoursclub.com or (305) 846-7957. On an erasure request we anonymise your personal details in place and disable your sign-in, while retaining the underlying event and attendance records the Club needs to run its programme.
